Mogán town hall has unveiled its new tourism logo in the form of a multicoloured fish with the sun for an eye.
The logo is displayed along with the slogan ‘Mogán, Warm Paradise’.
Mogán mayor Onalia Bueno said the logo was designed to reinforce what everybody already knows about Mogán; that it is “a warm paradise all-year-round from the coast to the mountains”.
Designer Luis Artiles said that the new logo took about three months to create and that it ‘focuses both on Mogán’s famous heritage as a coastal and fishing area and also draws attention to its lesser-known countryside’.
He also said that the friendly font was suitable for both print and digital use.
The new Mogán logo comes just weeks after the neighbouring municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana launched its own updated logo for Maspalomas.
Maspalomas’s new logo is a colourful wordplay on the Spanish word ‘más’ which means more or plus.
Mogán’s new logo will be officially launched to the public at the World Travel Market in London next week.
