Here are the dates and highlights of the Mogán carnival 2018.
This year there are local events in all the main villages in the Mogán municipality as well as the main carnival in Arguineguín.
Village carnivals in Mogan
The first is called the “Carnaval de Barrios” and takes place between February 9 and March 4. Each village in the municipality has a children’s costume party with traditional carnival pancakes, followed by a concert. These events are for locals but everyone is, of course, invited to come and enjoy the fun.
The following places have Carnaval de Barrio events in 2018: Motor Grande, Veneguera, Las Filipinas, Playa de Mogán, El Horno, Baranquillo Andrés y Soria, and Mogán town.
Main Mogán carnival 2018
The main Mogán carnival takes place between the 20-25 of February 2018. The theme, chosen via a public vote, is Comics and Superheroes.
